Human Dimensions Research
The human dimensions study evaluated human-coyote relationships in suburban areas of NY. Through a combination of interviews and surveys, the research team examined people's perceptions of coyotes and the extent and nature of human-coyote interactions. The inquiry began in August 2005 and was completed in August 2008. Research reports and publications can be found on the Human Dimensions Research Unit website. Reporting on related human-coyote projects will continue through Spring 2009 and additional publications will continue to be posted.
